Christmas: Abia Assembly Member, Hon. Nkoro Unveils Conference Hall In Obingwa, Doles Out 4 Cars To Constituents (Photos)

In an effort to mark the 2021 Christmas with a landmark project for his people, the member representing Obingwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Thomas Nkoro has handed over a state-of-the-art conference hall to his constituents.

This is even as he doles out four cars to leaders of PDP in his constituency for their hard work and loyalty.

Addressing his constituents at an event to handover the project, Hon. Nkoro noted that his resolve to build and fully equip the conference center is in the spirit of serving his people and giving back to them for their unalloyed support.

According to the lawmaker, this is a demonstration of how responsible and responsive he is to his constituents.

Hon Nkoro stated; “I’ve always done Christmas for my Constituents but this year I had to add some of these landmark projects that will go beyond food which is easily forgotten”.

The conference hall was commissioned by the Senator representing Abia South, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, while the plaque was unveiled by Colonel Austin Akobundu.

In their separate remarks, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Hon Solomon Akpulonu, the Majority Leader in the State House of Assembly, and Hon Michael Nwoke, Obingwa Local Government Chairman, amongst others, commended Hon Nkoro for the show of love to his constituents just as they urged those that didn’t benefit to be patient until it gets to them.

Those who benefited from the car gifts are; PDP Chairman, Obingwa LGA, Honorable Seth Agomuo, PDP Financial Secretary, Obingwa LGA, Mr Nnamdi Osuji, Ward 4 Chairman, Obingwa, Elder Holland Dinneya and Mr Okwubunka Mark.

Other items distributed include bags of rice and cash gifts to other Constituents.
