The body of the late Ghanaian footballer who died during the Turkiye earthquake, Christian Atsu has arrived in Ghana where he will be buried.
His body was retrieved under the rubble on Saturday morning.
Atsu’s body arrived at 7:25 pm local time on Sunday onboard a Turkish airliner.
Family members, government, and Ghana FA officials received the body.
The body will later be transported to a military hospital morgue in the capital of Accra, Ghana.
