Board member National Films and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, Chief Princess Monica Uche Ottah has bagged the chieftaincy title of Ada Ka Ibeya of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom.
ABN TV reports that the honour was conferred on her on Sunday by the Chairman, Ohafia Council of Monarchs, Ezie. Prof. E.U.L Imaga in recognition of her philanthropic and humanitarian gestures among the less privileged in society.
The honour stands for virtue and pride of womanhood.
The event took place at Achichi Elu, Ohafia, in Ohafia Local government area of Abia.
The monarch appreciated her efforts especially for putting smiles in the faces of the less privileged and downtrodden.
In her response, the women right advocate expressed gratitude to the Ohafia Council of Monarchs for the honour, saying she is motivated to do more.
She also made a pledge of N10m to Ohafia for community development projects.
The event had in attendance dignitaries across the state including the senate Chief whip, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu represented by Rev. Jemima Ola Kalu; Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu, Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Emeka Wogu, Fmr. Min. of Labour, member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Chief Emeka Atuma, Hon. Atu Obioma, Rev. Jemima Ola Kalu, Chief. Amobi Ogah, Chief Dan Okeke amongst others.
