The remains of Chief Prince Simple Ogba Orji Kalu (Ohamadike 1 of Ohafia, Onochi Anya Eze, Prime Minister) were interred today, January 25, 2025, at his residence in Plot 4 Ohafia Quarters, Ebem Ohafia, Abia State, following a series of activities to celebrate his remarkable life.
The 75-year-old patriarch, whose death was announced with gratitude to God for a life well spent, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother, deeply cherished by his family and community.
The funeral rites commenced on Friday, January 24, 2025, with a Service of Songs at St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, Ebem Oha, followed by a Christian wake at his residence.
On Saturday morning, his body departed Mben Mortuary for a Funeral Service at the same church, where family, friends, and dignitaries gathered to pay their final respects. His interment took place immediately after the service, amid an outpouring of love and tributes.
The ceremonies will conclude with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, Ebem Oha, marking the end of a life well-lived and the beginning of a lasting legacy.
The family of Chief Prince Simple Ogba Orji Kalu extends their appreciation to all who joined in honoring his life and memory.
