An elder statesman and retired SSS personal, Chief Ubaka Okali has congratulated the Chief Whip of Nigerian Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary.
The senior citizen says Sen. Kalu a former governor of Abia State has consistently demonstrated that he is in politics for the purpose of effective service to the people, applauding his people-centered representation in Abia North in the past four years which he said is record-breaking in terms of quantity of infrastructure attracted, efforts to empower the senatorial district and quality of bills and motions moved.
Chief Okali, father of Mr. Ifeanyi Okali, Director ABN TV, in a goodwill message on Friday said attraction of over fifty roads in Abia North since he was elected a Senator is a landmark achievement that has enhanced the lives of the people of Abia and Nigerians at large.
The octogenarian expressed gratitude to God for making Sen. Kalu victorious in several battles of life, including his victory at the recently concluded National Assembly election.
While thanking him for showing love to the people of Ohafia, Chief Okali also appealed to Sen. Kalu to remember the local government and the people in coming days in his national assignment.
He prayed God to grant the Senate Chief Whip success in his quest to emerge the next President of the Senate, expressing confidence that the leadership of the tenth National Assembly under Sen. Kalu will usher in era of socio-econimic development for the people of the country.
