Preparations have commenced for the final burial of father-in-law of Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke, an Abia-born businessman and philanthropist.
Late Elder Stephen Ipia Okeke will be laid to rest on Saturday 28th August, 2021.
In a release made available to ABN TV by Chief Dr. Daniel Chimezie Okeke & Lolo Agnes Okeke, service of songs/wake keep will be held in honour of the late eler statesman on Friday 27th August 2021 at 6pm.
On Saturday 28th August, 2021, his body will leave Arochukwu Mortuary to his residence in Ubila Ututu in preparation for lying in state at 8:00am.
At 9:00am of same day, St. Mary’s Catholic Church will hold a commendation service/Reception in his honour at Ubila/Amaetiti Primary School Field Ututu, Arochukwu LGA. Abia State after which he will be interred to the mother earth for a peaceful rest.
A thanksgiving service will take place in his honour at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Ubila Ututu on Sunday 29th, August 2021 at 9:00am.
While inviting the general public to be part of the final respect to the late Elder Stephen Ipia Okeke, the family also prays God to grant his soul a peaceful repose.
