Chief Dan Okeke Targets 10,000 Beneficiaries With Free Medical Outreach In Arochukwu, Ohafia (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

No fewer than 10,000 persons are set to benefit from the free medical outreach of Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke, the APC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the two local governments that make up the constituency.

It kicked off in Agboji Abiriba community in Ohafia local government area of Abia State.

The outreach being carried out by his Omereoha/Mezie Abia is his annual activity which seeks to provide quality health care for the less privileged children, women, men, aged, and youths in the two local governments.

 

The programme which started on 4th January 2022 and runs till 11th January 2023 is expected to get across all the clans in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.

A statement by Oti Maduabuchi Orieji, Chief Okeke’s media aide said the Agboji Abiriba beneficiaries included persons living with disabilities. It seeks to ensure wider coverage of vulnerable groups were captured in the free medical outreach.

The communities will benefit form free consultations, free investigations, free medications including eyeglasses, eye check tests, awareness talks, blood sugar level checks free, as well as drugs for common illnesses, the statement said.

It added, “The people of Abiriba expressed Sincere appreciation to Chief Daniel Okeke (MEZIE ABIA) and all the members of the Medical Outreach Team led by Dr. Benedict Offor for ensuring a successful outreach in Abiriba, Ohafia LGA.

“The Medical Outreach Team worked harmoniously with different directorates of the MEZIE Campaign Council and MEZIE ABIA MANDATE Abiriba Ohafia LGA which include: Directors, Co-ordinators, Leaders, team members o,f the council.

“It is worth noting that all the prescribed drugs by our certified medical practitioners were given free to all patients reviewed. examinations were done. Nursing services e.g BP checks,s, pulse rate, and temperature were also rendered during the free medical outreach.

“The most interesting part of the free medical outreach faithfully faithful from other political parties was reviewed and given free drugs, counsel, and eyeglasses.

“It was a program with a very great impact on the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.”
