An aspirant for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal constituency in 2023 election, Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke has denied withdrawing from the race, accusing one Mr Kingsley Igwe a former APGA ward chairman from Oheke Abam and some unscrupulous persons of spreading falsehoods.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Oti Maduabuchi Orieji the businessman said this is an indication of fear and apprehension over his aspiration, urging the people of the constituency to ignore the rumour that he is no more in the race.
“Our attention has been drawn to the false information and propaganda being circulated by one Mr Kingsley Igwe a former APGA ward chairman from Oheke Abam and some unscrupulous persons that Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke PhD an aspirant for the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal constituency seat has withdrawn from the race.
“The Mezie Abia Mandate found this not only disappointing and appalling but also laughable. This shows how low some people can go just to gain some cheap publicity and also a confirmation of the huge support Chief Dr Daniel Chimezie Okeke has been enjoying since he made his intention public,” he said.
He therefore therefore, urge the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia and his teeming supporters to continue to support him.
He also encouraged them to get their PVCs and get ready to make the House of Representatives dream a reality.
