Chelsea Confirms Deal For Attacker Of Nigerian Descent After Latest Defeat

This comes less than 24 hours after Chelsea was defeated 1-0 by Southampton in a Premier League match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chinoso Chibueze, an attacking midfielder, has signed his first professional contract with the Blues.

“Chinonso Chibueze has signed his first professional contract with the club, agreeing on a deal that will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2025,” Chelsea’s website said on Sunday morning.”

Chibueze, who is of Nigerian descent, will continue his football education at Chelsea U18s under Nigerian manager Hassan Sulaiman, who has agreed to become the new coach of Chelsea U18s after rising through the ranks from the U16s.
