Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been named the 2025 CAF Women’s National Team of the Year, capping off a spectacular year marked by dominance, resilience, and a record-extending continental triumph.
The accolade was presented on Wednesday, November 19, at the 2025 CAF Awards held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, Morocco.
The recognition comes on the back of a sensational year in which the Super Falcons secured their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title, further solidifying their status as Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
