A Rivers Joy Transport company bus was involved in a lone accident on the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Express road near Ntigha in Isiala Ngwa North LGA of Abia State.
ABN TV gathered that the accident occurred at approximately 3 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024, when the bus’s tire burst at high speed while traveling from Abakaliki to Port Harcourt, subsequently somersaulted and veered off the road, crashing into the nearby bush.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported. However, several passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) promptly responded to the scene, ensuring road users’ safety and clearing the obstruction.
