Prof. Attahiru Jega, former chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) under whose watch Muhammadu Buhari was declared winner of the 2015 presidential election has said the President’s performance is disappointing, ABN TV reports.
Prof. Jega in a verified Twitter handle said, “Buhari has disappointed so many people. He still has time to correct things if he has the capacity to do that. Frankly, his government has been very disappointing.”
Buhari’s administration has since 2015 witnessed heavy criticism over poor performance particularly in the area of poor economic policies that led to massive job loss in the early days of the administration.
Added to this is the growing insecurity the country has witnessed in recent times, particularly the savagery of Fulani herdsmen who leave a trail of blood all over the country.
