Union of European Football Associations, UEFA, on Thursday announced postponement of the second leg Round of 16 Champion League ties between Manchester City and Real Madrid billed for Etihad stadium in Manchester.
It also postponed the Juventus versus Lyon match slated for Turin, Italy.
The football body said the postponement was due to outbreak of coronavirus in Europe with Juventus defender Daniele Rugain and a Real Madrid basketball player confirmed positive to the virus.
Already, all Serie A matches have been called off while La Liga announced a two-week break to stem the tide of the ravaging virus.
