BREAKING: Police Arrest CNN Reporter Omar Jimenez On Live TV [VIDEO]

Omar Jimenez, a correspondent of Cable News Network (CNN), was arrested live on air a few minutes ago while reporting on the scene of the ongoing protests in Minneapolis.

The camera crew and Omar’s producer we’re also arrested. ABN TV could not, however, ascertain why Jimenez was arrested, however, before the arrest police could be overheard asking Mr. Jimenez and his television crew to step backward.

Footages quickly emerged online, and many of Jimenez’s colleagues took to twitter in the outcry over the incident.

They have been very chaotic protests in Minneapolis since a black man identified as George Floyd was murdered by a police officer. Although the officer has been dismissed, charges will be are yet to be filed against him.
