BREAKING: Former Enyimba FC Chairman Dies Of Partial Stroke

A former chairman of Enyimba Football Club, Chief Ojigwe Kalu Agwu has reportedly died of a partial stroke.

A family source who spoke with ABN TV on Tuesday said the Ebem Ohafia, Abia born football administrator died August 18 last year, a development the family only decided to make public now.

He was the chairman of the People’s Elephant between 1999-2000 when Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu was the governor of Abia state.

Though the burial date has not been fixed, his son, Kalu Ojigwe Kalu told our correspondent that the late father is expected to be laid to rest around April this year.

He described his father’s death as painful.

His health challenge started towards the end of 2019 and further deteriorated in 2020 before he eventually died.
