Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Tuesday evening received top present and former political leaders in his Abuja residence, ABN TV reports.
Among the notable political leaders who visited Kalu on solidarity includes; Former Secretary to Government of the Federation and Former Senate President, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim; Former Attorney General of the Federation Chief Michael Aondoakaa, SAN; Former Governor of Borno State and Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial District, Senator Kashim Shettima; Former Governor of Benue State and Senator of the 9th Assembly, Senator Gabriel Suswan; PDP Gubernatorial aspirant for Anambra 2021 governorship election, Dr Obiorah Okonkwo among others.
The visits are in solidarity with Senator Kalu following his release from Kuje correctional centre on June 3, on the order of the Federal High Court, Lagos.
