Bishop Onuoha Urges Abia Students To Stay Away From Drugs, Examination Malpractice

The President of Vision Africa, Bishop Sunday Onuoha has urged students in Abia State to maintain sound morals that will take them far in life and stay away from drug, premarital sex, and examination malpractice.

Bishop Onuoha spoke while addressing secondary school students participating in the ongoing 13th edition of the Vision Africa Radio 104.1 FM school debate in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State.

The competition which is holding at Vision Africa Radio broadcasting complex located at No.1 Ogurugbe layout, Umuahia, Abia state seeks to provide a platform for students to showcase their intellectual prowess and to learn and grow.

Bishop Onuoha extolled their passion for debate and for knowledge of effective communication.

According to him, this is evident in every word spoken. “Looking into the eyes of the students, one could see desire to have a bright future”, a statement from the media organization states.

It further reads, “Seeing them navigate through intricate arguments with confidence and grace was a testament to their dedication and hard work.

“It was heartwarming witnessing the remarkable talents and dexterity displayed by students from various secondary schools in Abia state who turned up for the ongoing 13th edition of Vision Africa Radio 104.1 FM School Debate.”

It added, “It’s truly fulfilling to see these students embrace challenges, express themselves, and emerge as confident individuals.

“The students were advised by the organizers to put their trust in God and believe in themselves. They were reminded that the future of their families and communities depended on them. The organizers also warned them against indulgence in examination malpractice, premarital sex, drugs, and alcoholism.”
