The Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uchechukwu Ogah has felicitated with the former Managing Director of the defunct Diamond Bank, Dr. Alex Otti at the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a true brother.
Ogah says Dr. Otti is a man who has distinguished himself as a rare breed renowned Economist who has used his experience to advance banking operation in through innovations.
“For Dr. Otti, a true brother who has shown commitment to leave his society better that he met it, no spoken or written words is enough to salute you for the myriads of milestone you stand out for.
“A thoroughbred Banker, Economist and and a humanitarian who is known for his sense of integrity and hard work, his footprints in our banking sector cannot be forgotten.
“As the helmsman of Diamond Bank, he exhibited a high administrative dexterity and business acumen that positioned the bank at the forefront among the top rated financial institutions.
“Today, I join hosts of friends and associates to celebrate a rare gem as he marks a year older. I pray God Almighty to continually use you as a vessel to lift our people’s burden” he wrote.
