Member representing Bende Federal Constituency Abia state and Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has congratulated the Anambra State governor-elect, Prof. Charles Soludo on his victory, describing him as one of the best in South East.
In a congratulatory message he personally endorsed on Friday, the lawmaker said the best way to get it right in leadership is by identifying effective individuals, which he said Soludo stands for.
Hon. Kalu also applauded the former CBN governor to contesting against what he called men of quality and substance and won.
His message as obtained by ABN TV partly reads, “I heartily congratulate you on your victory as the newly elected governor of Anambra State, the pride of the South East. I also congratulate Ndi Anambra who against all odds showed great resilience in using their voices peacefully to elect a new leader of the state.
“The best way to get it right with leadership and good governance is to carefully identify efficient individuals who are ready and passionate to deliver good services to the people. You have indeed remained one of the best from the southeastern Nigeria and the nation at large. Little wonder you were able to contest against men of quality and substance and emerged victorious which to me is the true definition of victory.
“On behalf of the good people of Bende Federal Constituency, Abia State, I wish you all the best and I sincerely hope that you will justify the confidence which Ndi Anambra have imposed on you. As your first elective office, the way you manage it in delivering expected outcomes will motivate other good hands and brains in the country and beyond to come back and help with the development of Igboland.
“It is my prayer that this tenure brings prosperity to Ndi Anambra, Ndi Igbo and our country Nigeria and I urge you to champion regional Integration of the South Eastern region.”
