The organizers of Nigeria’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has come out to tell the fans of the show how much it costs to host this season edition.
Speaking on Monday at the winner prize presentation, Nigeria DSTV CEO, John Ugbe revealed that the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Season cost N4.3 billion to make the show happen.
He said, “We employed 12,000 persons for this show, it cost us N4,3billion to air this show this year.
“We use BBNaija to enrich lives and contribute positively to society. We hope to continue to do so.”
He further revealed that one billion votes were recorded this year from the viewers.
It could be recalled that the host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu had also announced that during the finale week, the show had over 300 million votes.
