BBNaija Season 10 Set To Commence July 26 With ₦150m Prize

MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced that the 10th season of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show will premiere on July 26, 2025, kicking off with a special double launch weekend on July 26 and 27.

At a press briefing on Wednesday, the organizers revealed that this season’s winner will take home a record-breaking grand prize of N150 million—the largest in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.

Fan-favorite Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as host, continuing his role in steering viewers through the drama and excitement the show is famous for.

Having delivered nine thrilling seasons filled with twists and unforgettable moments, BBNaija Season 10 promises to surpass all expectations.

The launch details are as follows:

• Dates: July 26 & 27 (double launch weekend)

• Channels: Africa Magic Showcase and others

During the event, Ebuka highlighted BBNaija’s impressive track record: across nine seasons, the show has featured 197 housemates, aired over 709 days, and awarded a total of N637 million in prize money.

Last year’s “No Loose Guard” season introduced a unique twist where contestants auditioned and entered the house in pairs, later competing individually. Kellyrae made history as the first married winner, walking away with N100 million.

For this milestone 10th season, organizers reinstated physical auditions, which were held from May 16 to 18.
