It was a heartwarming and symbolic moment today at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Umuahia as Dr. Miss Precious Ola Chizramekpere Ifeanyi, fondly called OlaPre, returned to the very hospital where she was born for a special visit as part of her school’s Career Day celebration.

Despite being just one year and nine months old, little OlaPre has already begun to express a deep passion for the medical profession. Excited about her future, she confidently wore a medical doctor’s outfit to school and could not stop declaring, “Doctor! Doctor! Doctor!”

During her visit to FMC Umuahia, OlaPre was warmly received by the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Prof. Onyebuchi Azubuike, who offered prayers for her future. Prof. Azubuike encouraged her to keep pursuing her dreams and advised that when the time comes for higher education, she should consider the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)—his alma mater—as her first choice to study Medicine.

OlaPre’s story is truly inspiring. She was born at FMC Umuahia after 11 years of waiting, making her a miracle child and a testament to faith and perseverance. Her parents Mr & Mrs Ifeanyi Okali, family, and well-wishers remain grateful to God and continue to pray for His guidance over her life, believing that she will grow to achieve greatness in whatever path she chooses.
