Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate, and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, are heading a protest at the national offices of the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, in Abuja.
According to the DAILY POST, the PDP Chairman, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, and other party leaders and supporters assembled at the Legacy House in Maitama to begin their protest march to the INEC National Headquarters.
This comes just days after INEC named All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu as President-elect.
Tinubu defeated Atiku and Peter Obi of the Labour Party in the February 25 presidential election.
INEC has since issued the former Lagos State Governor with his Certificate of Return.
