Atiku Abubakar
Former Vice President, Namadi Sambo has restated his support for the presidential ambition of his predecessor, Atiku Abubakar.
Sambo said the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the most prepared presidential candidate.
The former VP spoke on Wednesday in Abuja at the inauguration of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
Sambo noted that Atiku has the capacity to address Nigeria’s challenges and was ready to discuss them with stakeholders.
“Atiku Abubakar is a political driver who not only has the experience to drive a car but also knows the rules on how to rescue Nigeria.
“Cooperate fully with one another and ensure victory at the end of the day”, he charged party members.
Jim Nwobodo, an ex-Anambra governor, said he was optimistic that citizens would vote for the PDP candidate next February.
Nwobodo described Atiku as a true Nigerian who would unite all, adding that the country “will be better off with him”.
