Atiku Abubakar Receives Second Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccine (Photos)

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, his media aide Paul Ibe said on Wednesday.

The former number two citizen, who is currently in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, had received the first shot on January 6.

“H.E @atiku earlier today took his second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. He had earlier had the first jab on the 6th of January,” Mr Ibe tweeted.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been approved by several countries including the United States and the United Kingdom.

Nigeria will get her first shipment of the vaccine in February, according to chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum Kayode Fayemi.
