Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has felicitated with Chief Whip of Nigerian Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu as he marks 61 birthday today, describing him as a symbol of the country’s unity and love.
According to Minister, Dr. Kalu, Senator representing Abia North has used a substantial number of his years working for an egalitarian Nigerian society and redefining selflessness in public service.
In a birthday message he personally endorsed on Wednesday, Dr. Ogah noted that God has positioned Sen. Kalu as the people’s mouthpiece and eye, a role which he has satisfactorily played with the focal aim of giving the people a new lease of life.

“As one who God at an early stage in his life exposed to public office, Sen. Kalu understands the rudiment of national unity which accounts to why his popularity in every part of our great country is not in doubt, including Borno where he served as the head of Water Corporation at age 25.
“His legacies when he held swear as governor of our great state Abia are still there and his footprints of performance visibly seen across the state, ministering to the needs of our people and enhancing their living.
“No doubt, God is not done with our leader yet as He prepares him for a higher national assignment in coming days. On behalf of myself and entire family, I salute this great son of our land for his bravery, fearlessness in the face of intimidation and love for his people” he said.
Dr. Ogah also prayed God to grant Sen. Kalu many more years of good health, divine wisdom and grace.
