Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed worry over the prolonged industrial disharmony between the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and the federal government which has led the union to down their tool in the past five months.
Sen. Kalu, representing Abia North in a video released on Wednesday said a lot of students from his constituency have reached out to him, seeking his input on ways to resolve the crisis. العاب كازينو مجاني
The lawmaker said it has become imperative for all stakeholders, religious, political, and traditional leaders to put their hands together to ensure that the union goes back to work. كيف تربح في القمار
“And also save the families of ASUU members. Some of them are starving to death because you cannot stay for five months without paying a man his salary.
“I also want to urge the federal government to reconsider the demands of ASUU, even if it means paying them salaries and still be negotiating because this is Nigeria and it is there in the Bible and the Holy Qur’an that wherever you sow is where you reap,” he said.

Sen. Kalu said the lecturers have nothing to sustain them and their families, calling on the federal government to find an immediate solution to ameliorate the sufferings of the lecturers and ensure they return to work.
ASUU among other things are seeking implementation of the 2009 agreement it had with the federal government on funding of education.
It also seeks the use of the University Transparency Accountability Solution, UTAS as an alternate payment platform to Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS which the government insists must be adopted across the board.
ASUU argues this will negate the independence of the university. العاب تربح فلوس
