An indefinite strike has been declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities at Niger Delta University, which is owned by the Bayelsa State Government, due to the government’s purported noncompliance with agreements made with the union.
The strike action was announced on Tuesday following a meeting at the union’s secretariat in Amassoma.
