As We’re Ending SARS, We Must End Our Bad Habits, Uche Nwosu Advises Youths

Former Commissioner for Land in Imo State, Chief Uche Nwosu has called on youths to do away with attitudes that are inimical to the growth and development of the country.

He gave this advise in a chat with ABN TV in Abuja recently.

Nwosu, a former Chief of Staff to Rochas Okorocha, a former Imo governor while backing the youths on the #EndSARS protests warned that if negative attitudes in the youths are not ended, the country may face a more dangerous SARS in the future.

He said the orgy of looting that has characterised the campaign where some youths raided hospitals, NYSC orientation camps, private businesses, and torched public facilities including BRT buses in Lagos and police stations are not in the interest of the country.

“I feel sad with what is happening today especially with this issue of #ENDSARS. It has turned into another but it’s good we are ending SARS. We the younger ones must ask ourselves, have we ended the ignorance in ourselves? If you are ending SARS what about yourself.

“I saw on the social media where somebody was carrying tractor and I saw some carrying hospital beds. These are things we need to end in ourselves” he advised.

While cautioning against indecent dressing among youths, he maintained that proper packaging of inner and outer self is vital to every individual.

He urged them to be firm and believe in what they do for effective productivity.
