Arsenal Star Martinelli Urges Saka To Sign New Contract

Arsenal star, Gabriel Martinelli has urged his teammate, Bukayo Saka to pen a new deal at the club.

Saka has been locked in talks with the Gunners over a new contract with the agreement reportedly close.

Martinelli recently committed to a new long-term deal and stated that he would love to see Saka following on and signing a new contract as well.

Asked about the matter, per football. London, Martinelli said: “I will be happy because he is a very, very good player, one of the best young players in the world.

“He is at his house, you know,” he added.

“Arsenal is his home and for sure he is happy. And we will be happy as well if he stays and signs a new deal.”

Martinelli added: “Yeah, we always have some jokes [convincing him to stay] – me, him, and [William] Saliba. But it’s up to him. But he will stay for sure. He loves the club”
