Arsenal have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, landing him on a permanent deal from Anderlecht.
Talks between the Gunners and Anderlecht had been ongoing for several weeks and after finally settling on a transfer fee the deal has now officially been confirmed, with the midfielder putting pen to paper on a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Sambi Lokonga has become the club’s second signing of this summer’s transfer window, following on from the arrival of left-back Nuno Tavares from Benfica last week.
On completing the signing of the 21-year-old defensive-midfielder, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta told the club’s official website: “Albert is a very intelligent player who has shown great maturity in his performances during his development. He has been coached well by Vincent Kompany and his team at Anderlecht.
