Arsenal has completed the signing of Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting Lisbon, following a full verbal agreement reached between all parties.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Tuesday, declaring, “Viktor Gyökeres to Arsenal, here we go! Verbal agreement in place between all parties involved.”

According to Romano, Sporting Lisbon have accepted Arsenal’s final offer—€63.5 million up front, with an additional €10 million in performance-related add-ons.

In a move that helped facilitate the transfer, Gyökeres’ agent has reportedly agreed to reduce his commission.

The 27-year-old striker is expected to sign a five-year contract with the North London club, committing his future to Arsenal after a standout season in Portugal.

Romano also noted the player’s strong desire to join Mikel Arteta’s side, stating, He only wanted Arsenal.”
