Arochukwu Communities Smile Home With N3m As Dancing Competition Sponsored By Ifeanyi Ogbonna Ends (Photos, Video)

No fewer than six clans in Arochukwu state constituency of Abia State have smiled home with hundreds of thousand naira as Ignes Ogbonna cultural dance competition ends.

The competition which was sponsored by an Abia State House of Assembly aspirant, Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna, popularly known as IGNES had Abam, Aro, Ihechiowa, Ututu and Isu clans represented.

He is seeking election into the legislative house on the platform of APGA.

The competition which took place at Amaikpe square, Obinkita, Arochukwu, Abia state among the 5 clans seeks to promote the culture and heritage of the people of Arochukwu.

A whopping sum of N3m was staked for the exercise which was shared among the participating communities from the clans.

About 15 villages took part in the competition which started from February 26 through March 26, 2022.

Each clan was said to have received N600,000 with the 1st position receiving 300,000; 2nd position- 200,000, and 3rd position -100,000

Speaking at the grand finale, the women in various dance groups described the sponsor, Ifeanyi Ogbonna as a man of peace and a good leader who is worthy to represent the people of Arochukwu LGA.

They charged the philanthropist and humanitarian to continue his good deeds, assuring that they will support him.
