According to the Minister, the road when completed will ease the burden associated with plying the roads.

He further said apart from creating direct and indirect jobs for youths, it will connect the rural communities to urban centre as well as increase farmers’ value chain especially with the opportunity of transporting their produce to the urban centres.

While expressing optimism that contractors will soon be mobilised to site, he called on the benefitting communities to co-operate with contractors to ensure timely completion of the project.
