The Court of Appeal, Lagos, has set aside the judgment by the National Assembly Election Tribunal in Umuahia which declared Daniel Okeke of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the last election for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia State.
A panel of the tribunal led by Justice Adeyinka Aderebgbe, had sacked the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Hon. Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, for non compliance with the electoral act 2022, in a petition filled by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the election Chief Daniel Okeke.
