Apostle Johnson Suleman, a cleric, has followed through on his threat by suing Halima Abubakar, a contentious actress, for more than N1 billion.
It was discovered that the cleric had accused the ill actress of defamation and had started a lawsuit.
Remember how Halima caused weeks of headlines last year when she alleged that Apostle Suleman had been having an affair with her? The once-bubbly Halima has transformed into a shadow of herself, and the actress and her family claimed that the pastor caused her illness.
Apostle Suleman threatened legal action against Halima for defaming his reputation in response to her numerous accusations.
Halima Abubakar was the target of the lawsuit, which was captioned “DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS CONCERNING APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN: NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST,” following her social media outburst regarding her previous relationships with the man of God.
According to the lawsuit, Halima Abubakar published false, malicious, and defamatory allegations against Apostle Suleman that were directed at his behavior. Additionally, it was requested that the ill actress issue a retraction in a few national newspapers of her choosing.
The founder of Omega Fire Ministry has filed a lawsuit against the actress, and according to information obtained by AbnTv, he is seeking N1 billion in damages.
