The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, Yilwatda Nentawe, as the party’s substantive national chairman.
The announcement was made by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, who also chairs the Progressive Governors’ Forum. He moved the motion during the ongoing 14th NEC meeting, currently taking place at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
The motion was seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.
Following the unanimous endorsement, Nentawe was immediately sworn in.
