Ancelotti To Face Trial Over Tax Fraud Allegations

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to go on trial next Wednesday for allegedly not declaring income to Spain’s tax authorities, according to a statement from the Madrid court overseeing the case on Friday.

The Madrid state prosecutor’s office accuses the 65-year-old Italian of having cost Spain’s treasury more than one million euros ($1.1 million) in undeclared earnings from image rights in 2014 and 2015.
