ANAN Abuja Chairman, Omoniyi Felicitates With Oduwa Izekor On Investiture As ICAN Abuja, District Society Chairman

The Chairman Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN FCT 1, Abuja, Wahab Shina Omoniyi, FCNA has congratulated Mr. Oduwa Joseph Izekor FCA on his investiture as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN Abuja and District Society 12th Chairman, describing him as a seasoned professional with lots of experience.

He said Mr. Izekor is a dexterous administrator who is armed with knowledge of new trends in the accounting profession which will be of immense value in efforts to build public confidence in the profession.

Mr. Izekor FCA was along with his executive members inaugurated in Abuja on Sunday where he pledged commitment to bring to bear his expertise in building a robust ICAN Abuja and District Society.

Mr. Omoniyi in a congratulatory message on Sunday urged the new leadership of ICAN in Abuja and District Society for create a forum for inter-association collaboration that will further strengthen the existing mutual relations between ANAN and ICAN.

“I felicitate with the new leadership of ICAN Abuja, District Society. I am particularly excited with the caliber of individuals who make up this exco, ably led by no less a professional than Mr. Oduwa Joseph Izekor FCA.

“At a point when public confidence is rapidly eroding in the accounting profession, we need individuals of like minds to once again position the profession as the conscience of the masses with utmost regard for ethical values, integrity service to nation.

“I therefore appeal to the new leadership to not only maintain the existing mutual relationship ANAN enjoys with ICAN but ensure that an opportunity for knowledge sharing is created.

“I congratulate Mr. Izekor FCA and his exco, wishing them well in this very demanding journey”, he said.
