A good Samarithan has found and returned a 5-year old missing girl who was found wandering around Nkwelle, Orsile in Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, in a statement says the child could neither find her way back home nor state where she came from.
He said she is presently in the protective care of the Ogbunike Divisional Anti human trafficking unit.
He said, “On the 14/1/2021 at about 11:47am, a good samaritan brought a female Child of about five years old to Ogbunike Police Station. The child is about 2 feet tall, dark in complexion without tribal mark.
“The girl was found wandering around Nkwelle junction, Orsile in Ogbunike, Oyi LGA of Anambra State and could neither find her way back home nor state where she came from.
“She is presently in the protective care of the Ogbunike Divisional Anti human trafficking unit pending identification of her parents or guardian.
“Anyone with useful information about the found child should report at Ogbunike Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639.”
