Chief Sylvanus Nwaji, a former Chairman of Ukwa West Local Government in Abia State, has urged Governor Alex Otti to ignore those singing his praises and appoint only competent and qualified people into his cabinet.
Chief Nwaji claimed that those who condemned the governor before the 2023 general elections have now left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Labour Party (LP) and they are now singing his praises.
He further stated that they can’t survive without government patronage, adding that Otti should be careful and bring only men and women with pedigree into his government regardless of their political affiliation.
“Almost all the people who condemned Alex Otti and said that he was a nobody, have all left PDP and ran into the Labour Party, shouting labour this, labour that. They are doing so because they can’t survive without government patronage. Otti must be careful and avoid those who’ll keep singing his praises until they sing him into problems.”
