Three senators representing Kebbi State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have officially defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that their defection letters were individually read on the Senate floor during Tuesday’s plenary session, presided over by Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau.
The lawmakers who switched parties are Adamu Aliero (Kebbi Central), Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North), and Garba Maidoki (Kebbi South).
