An Akwa Ibom-based journalist, Comrade Ekomobong Peter, on Friday narrowly escaped death after he came out unhurt in an accident in Ini local government area.
ABN TV reports that the unfortunate incident occured at about 7pm while on his way to his hometown in Ini local government.
Narrating how the incident occurred, the journalist, who’s the host of the program, Prime Voice on Inspiration 105.9 FM, Uyo, said a tipper was oncoming but had just one headlight on, so he thought it was a motorcycle, only to find out when he was very close to vehicle, and then swerved away from the road.

According to him, in a bid to swerve out of the way of the tipper, he drove into the deep ravine but expressed thanks to God for coming out unhurt.
As at the time of filing this report, the car is still in the ravine.
