The Director General of Chikwe Udensi Foundation, Engr. Uche Adiele, expressed dissatisfaction that the state government has not done enough in alleviating the suffering of the senior citizens through regular and timely payment of pensions.

He noted that the number of people who come out to benefit from the exercise surpasses expectations, emphasising that the organisation has developed a strategy to ensure that everyone goes home with something even though they are neglected by the state government.

He expressed the readiness of the Foundation to continue to support the pensioners and the elderly, expressing disappointment that after serving the state, they have not been able to access their pensions.

He called on good spirited Abians to join forces with Sir Udensi to reach out to the pensioners and elderly persons and to give them a good life.
