After 16 years, the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi can breath a fresh air following the ouster of Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha from the House of Representatives where she had held swear for nearly two decades.
Her political career was given a heavy strain by the Obi wave as the Labour Party’s Amobi Ogah floored her on the Feb. 25 National Assembly elections.
The deputy chief whip of the House of Representatives had her dream of going back for the fifth time thwarted after the businessman and calmer young leader, Amobi Ogah was declared winner for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency by INEC.
He was issued certificate of return on Wednesday at the International Conference Centre Abuja in readiness for the June inauguration of the tenth National Assembly.
He has since pledged to entrench an all-inclusive representation for the people of the constituency.
