Immediate past Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha and his counterpart, former Governor of Imo State (2007-2011) Chief Ikedi Ohakim on Monday afternoon, met with the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
The reasons for the meeting was undisclosed but a reliable source said it was centered on politics.
The meeting is coming barely 72 hours after the incumbent Governor of the State, Senator Hope Uzodimma paid a solidarity visit to the Senate Chief Whip in his Abuja residence.
Recall that following Kalu’s release from Kuje correctional centre on the order of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, political leaders have taken turns to pay Kalu a solidarity visit. Among the visitors were Senate President, Deputy Senate President, Speaker House of Representatives, Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Incumbent and Former Governors, Ministers, Senators, National and state leaders of All Progressives Congress among others.
Outcome of the meeting are yet to be revealed.
