After 4 Years, ABSIEC To Pay Ad-Hoc Staff Who Took Part In 2016 LG Election

Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) has finally indicated interest to pay ad-hoc staff who participated in 2016 December local government election in the state.

The Commission in a statement signed by Irobi James C, the Ag. Director of Administration while thanking the affected persons for their patience urged them to cooperate with it for a speedy and successful conclusion of this exercise

The Commission directed that they should submit their account details to the local governments where they worked on or before December 1st.

“Abia State Independent Electoral Commission hereby directs all Ad hoc Workers who participated in the December 21st, 2016, Local Government Elections and who were duly verified during the recent Verification exercise to submit the following to the Electoral Officers in the Local Government Area where they worked.

1. Bank Account details (including account number, account name, and BVN).
2. Personal Phone Number.

“This should reach the Electoral Officers before or by close of work on Tuesday, 1st December, 2020 to enable the Commission commence payment” the statement partly read.
