The Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji, Kaduna, has announced a field training exercise dubbed “Ubiak-Isin” for students enrolled in its Junior Course 96.
According to Maj. Umar Adamu, a spokesman for the institution, the exercise would take place from December 1 to 6 in Wusono, Anguwan Loya, and Camp Salaya general areas of Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Kaduna, Adamu said, “During this period, there will be a massive movement of military personnel and equipment to and from the exercise area.”
He warned residents living near the practice area to keep cool and not panic if they saw troops or equipment moving or heard the sounds of explosives and small guns.
He told residents that all essential precautions had been taken to ensure the general security and safety of the region but urged them to stay away from the exercise area during the period.
