Deji Adeyanju, a social media personality, has attacked Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi for purportedly endorsing Julius Abure as the party’s National Chairman despite a court restraining order.
The Labour Party is currently in crisis as a result of an Abuja High Court judgment prohibiting Abure from presenting himself as the party’s National Working Committee, NWC.
However, it appears that Obi and his supporters favor Abure, whom the Lamidi Apapa faction has taken to court for suspected forgery and fraud.
Adeyanju accused Obi and his fans of promoting criminality in a post on Thursday.
His words: “The court has restrained Abure from parading himself as Chairman of the Labour Party, but Obi continues to endorse his illegality, and he even proceeded to conduct Imo primaries after the decision of the court. That is how much they love illegality. PDP obeyed a similar court decision.”
