The Action Alliance (AA) has withdrawn its petition objecting to Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, winning the presidential election on February 25.
At the pre-hearing meeting of the presidential election tribunal on Monday, the party declared their withdrawal.
Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Oba Maduabuchi is in charge of the party’s legal defense team.
Prior to the announcement of the withdrawal, another lawyer had announced himself as the representative of the AA.
However, no reason was given for the withdrawal.
